Laminated Glass consists of tough protective interlayer made of film bonded between two panels of glass under heat and pressure. One sealed together, the glass " sandwitch" behaves as a single unit andlooks like normal glass. Annealed heat strengthened or tempered glass can be used to produce Laminated glass. Laminated glass may crack upor impact but the glass fragments held by the protective interlayer rather than falling free and potentially causing injury.
